Principal’s Message

Dear Parents and Hawks,

On behalf of the faculty and staff, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Hopi Elementary School for the 2009-2010 school year.  As part of the Scottsdale Unified School District, we are proud to share our excelling school with you, and are confident that your child will thrive in our engaging learning community.

As parents, you entrust us with your most treasured possession--the children who are at the heart of every decision made at Hopi. We invite you to continue to be involved in building upon the foundation you have created and celebrate with your children as they master the skills needed for becoming productive citizens.  Parents and teachers working together are a winning combination of support for the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students.  Please review this family handbook and the Scottsdale Unified Code of Conduct with your child so that the high expectations at Hopi Elementary are truly shared by all.  Respect of the information in these documents is critical in creating the safe and positive learning environment at Hopi Elementary.

We look forward to working with you this year!

Sincerely,

Lori Colling
